Cancellation Clause
As a consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days. The details of your right to cancel are set out here:
Right to cancellation
You are entitled to cancel your contractual declaration within 14 days, without stating why, in writing (e.g letter, fax, email) or - if you have received the item before the period expires - by returning the item. The period commences after receipt of this instruction in writing, however not before the goods have arrived at the recipient (with return deliveries of identical goods not before receipt of the first part delivery) and also not before compliance with our duties to inform in accordance with Article 246 Paragraph 2 in connection with Paragraph 1 Section1 and 2 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB) as well as our obligations in accordance with Article 312 Paragraph 1 Section 1 of the German Civil Code in conjunction with Article 246 Paragraph 3 (EGBGB). The timely despatch of the cancellation or item is sufficient to comply with the cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation
In the case of an effective cancellation, mutually received performance shall be restituted and any applicable benefit enjoyed (e.g. interest) shall be surrendered. Where you are not, or only in part, able to return or, if applicable, surrender the performance received as well as usage (e.g. benefits), or only do so in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate accordingly for any deterioration in value. You only need to compensate for any deterioration in value for deterioration to the item and derived usage where the usage or deterioration is attributed to using the item in a way that exceeds the testing of the features and functionality. 'Testing the features and functionality' refers to testing and trying out the particular goods as is possible and usual in a shop. Items suitable for shipping as a package shall be shipped at our risk. You shall bear the regular costs of the return shipment if the delivered goods correspond to those ordered and the price of the returned item does not exceed 40 Euros, or if you still have not paid the consideration or a contractually agreed part payment at the time of cancellation in the event of the item costing more. Otherwise you do not pay for return shipment. Items that cannot be shipped as a package will be collected from you. Obligations to refund payments must be complied with within 30 days. For you, the period begins when the cancellation notice or item are despatched and for us when they are received.

There are two options in which we can accept your return:
Firstly, If you have bought the bag in the last 14 days and wish to return it, we can offer you a full refund, please see the return instructions below. For all items within the 14 day return policy: Products should be returned in the same condition to which they are purchased. They should not be used.
If you bought your bag more than 14 days ago, and have now changed your mind, unfortunately we can not return it. Sorry.
Secondly, you can return your bag under our 30 year guarantee (authorisation needed!). If your bag is broken because workmanship, manufacturing faults or materials faults you can send it to us for assessment for return. If it is broken because of workmanship manufacture/material faults we will either fix your bag, or in some circumstances provide you with the nearest replacement (some lines are discontinued and we can not insure a direct exchange). Please make a listing the defects with images to show the problem.
How to return:
All items should be wrapped for return, and professionally packaged to avoid transportation damage.
Please use the enclosed UPS Return-Adress label for free return-shipping (only for orders over 40 € - orders under 40 € need to be sent back at your own expense). Please visit UPS.com to find out your local UPS station.
Returns must include original invoice or copy of original invoice. We can accept returns without this documentation. Please also include a note explaining the reason for your return, as we can try to help find another option.
As soon as we have received the return, we will refund the purchase price to your credit card account. In some exceptional cases, a refund on the used credit card account may not be possible for technical reasons. For this purpose, please specify your bank account details when returning.

§ 5 Information on revocation right
For consumers the following revocation right applies:
Revocation right
The Customer is entitled to cancel the contract with no explanation necessary within two (2) weeks of order either in writing (e.g. letter, facsimile, E-mail) or via complete return of all merchandise in case merchandise has been received before the end of the two weeks cancellation period. The time limit begins upon receipt of these instructions in written but not before you have received the merchandise or the first part of your part-order and also not before we have complied with our information duties according to § 312c sec. 2 BGB in conjunction with § 1 sec. 1, 2 and 4 BGB-InfoV as well as according to § 312e sec. 1 sentence 1 BGB, § 3 BGB-InfoV.Written cancellation or return of the merchandise has to be sent out within the time limit to make it valid. Revocation consequences
In the case of a valid cancellation, the Customer is responsible for returning the merchandise and CRUMPLER is responsible for refunding the purchase price. In case the customer returns only part of the merchandise or returns the merchandise in a worsened condition the Customer must indemnify CRUMPLER. If the customer has already paid the purchase price, CRUMPLER is entitled to deduct depreciation from the reimbursement. Indemnification is not to be made, if the deterioration of the product is exclusively attributed to its being tested, for instance, as would have been likely in the shop. In all other respects the Customer can avoid the obligation of value replacement, if he does not use the thing like an owner and refrains from doing anything, which impairs its value.
Merchandise will be send back at our risk. Goods that cannot be send will be picked up. If the Customer is returning items which have a value of 40,00 Euro or less and were delivered in an acceptable condition, the Customer is responsible for the shipping costs. Otherwise returning is free of charge. Obligation for payment refunds must be fulfilled within 30 days after sending the cancellation statement. For you, the revocation deadline begins with the dispatch of your revocation notice or of the dispatch of the goods, for us it begins with their receipt.

Nice, you picked one of our original Crumpler Stores or our Online Shop to make your purchase.
Unfortunately we need the receipt as proof of purchase to be able to take product back, so you will have to love the product you have already bought....and next time, keep your receipt.
Please contact your third party dealer directly to make the return.
At this stage, we can only take 30 year guarantee returns, and return bags bought at our own retail or online shops.
