Rooster Tex‚ is a nylon-based fabric which Crumpler uses. It is a massive 1680 denier. The thread used in Rooster Tex‚ is not air treated, so it has a soft feeling and colour. This style of material is also known as ballistic nylon. Crumpler's Rooster Tex is lightweight and extremely strong. It has a high abrasion resistance; it is often used in luggage and other applications where high strength and abrasion resistance is needed.
